Tom Moucka is The Grant Writing Coach. His experience in the non-profit sector spans 30 years, during which he has served as pastor of both large and small churches, as Area Director of Young Life, founding board member of two private schools, founder of Empty Hands Fellowship and consultant to dozens of community-based non-profits. He did his undergraduate work at Wheaton College, earned his masters degree from Northern Seminary, and his doctorate in Leadership Development from Regent University. His doctoral dissertation was on grant writing and its effectiveness for faith-based organizations – the first of its kind in the field. Dr. Moucka is also a member of the American Bar Association as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator, a PAST member, an ultralight flight instructor, and an avid flyfisherman. He and his wife Lucie currently live in Franklin, Tennessee with the younger two of their four children.
